Frequently asked questions
How do I format Morse code for decoding?
Separate the dots and dashes of each letter with a single space, and separate words with a forward slash "/". For example: ".... .. / - .... . .-." .
What does the Play button do?
It plays the Morse code as audio beeps using your browser’s built-in sound, with standard dot, dash and gap timing. Nothing is downloaded or uploaded.
Which characters are supported?
All 26 letters, the digits 0–9, and common punctuation such as . , ? ! / and @ are supported. Unsupported characters are skipped.
